Spotlight Media traveled to Minneapolis last week to attend the Minnesota Magazine Publishing Association’s Excellence Awards. The company was awarded with a gold award in the feature article category for the March 2014 article “Fargo-Moorhead is an Emerging Prairie.”
The article showcased the growing number of entrepreneurs and start-ups popping up across Fargo-Moorhead. Showcased in the article were start-ups like DogIDs, Myriad Mobile, Beach Interactive, Fargo 3D Printing and Office Sign Company, as well as the digital-media company, Emerging Prairie.
“We are especially proud that this award continues to spread the news about what’s happening in the Fargo-Moorhead area,” said Mike Dragosavich, Owner of Spotlight Media. “I hope that we can continue to showcase our great community. As we go into 2015, Fargo Monthly will be more heavily dedicated to entrepreneurs, start-ups and business in general.”
According to their website, the Minnesota Magazine Publishing Association is a group of magazine professionals dedicated to the growing number of Minnesota publications. The 18th annual Excellence Awards received 608 entries, with 87 judges selecting the finalists.
