Our First-Ever Monthly Magazine Release Party

Our First-Ever Monthly Magazine Release Party

The Spotlight Media team had a blast at our first-ever magazine release party last night at ABOVO in Fargo. The event was organized to celebrate everyone who helped make our February issues of Fargo INC!, Fargo Monthly, Design & Living Magazine and Bison Illustrated possible.

“Our team doesn’t just put ink on paper, we bring people together,” Spotlight Media Publisher Mike Dragosavich said. “This event was a way to help connect people who are doing amazing things for this community.”

Fargo North High School jazz band

In each magazine, we shine a spotlight on locals who are making an impact in our community in one way or another. The release party brought them all together under one roof for an evening of sipping wine, posing in front of a media screen and listening to a performance by students of Fargo North High School’s jazz band.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better evening,” Dragosavich said.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who came out to celebrate with us. Our team is planning to continue hosting monthly magazine release parties going forward.

*The events are exclusive to our team and all those featured in each magazine.

Fargo INC!

Fargo INC Appareo

When David Batcheller took over for his father, Barry, as Appareo’s president and CEO last fall, it represented a changing of the guard at the electronics-and-software company not just in name but in philosophy. In this installation of “CEO Conversations,” we sat down with the Batchellers to talk about the company’s new business model, recruiting and economic development, and what it’s been like for father and son to work alongside one another for the past 15 years.
