Video: North Dakota Today Takes A Look At The July Issue Of Fargo Monthly

Editorial Director Andrew Jason made an appearance on North Dakota Today this morning to talk about the July Issue of Fargo Monthly that is being distributed everywhere this week. Jason delved into the different aspects of the community that were featured in the new neighborhoods issue of the magazine, which featured areas of Fargo-Moorhead that are not mentioned as much in local publications.

Areas such as: Soma, Osgood, North Fargo, Sheyenne, Dilworth, South Moorhead and Veterans Blvd were all discussed.

Jason also talked about some of the dining features of the July issue, which features local ice cream-related businesses, Prairie Rose Meadery and the renovation that has been done at Luna coffee to transition it to also include nightly fine dining options.

Fargo Monthly’s Family Issue Featured On North Dakota Today

Each month, Fargo Monthly‘s Editorial Director Andrew Jason is featured on North Dakota Today to talk about the newest issue. The May Issue, which is the family issue, was featured on the morning television show this morning. It is all about things to do with your family this summer.

Jason talked about the multitude of activities contained in the newest edition of Fargo Monthly including, Medora, Skyzone, The Red River Valley Fair and one of Fargo’s hidden gems, the Northern Plains Botanical Garden.

He also revealed some exclusive information pertaining to the Spotlight Media Burger Bourbon and Beer Festival happening downtown on June 18th.

Spotlight Media To Release Marathon Commemorative Book

Spotlight Media will be attending the Fargo Marathon this weekend to gather the stories and photos of the participants of one of Fargo’s largest and most popular events. This special issue will be titled, Fargo Marathon Commemorative Book.

The Fargo Marathon Commemorative Book will be mailed to the households of every participant in the Fargo Marathon. Spotlight Media will have nine photographers and writers out on all of the race days over the week of May 7th-9th as well as the post-race celebration. The book will feature stories on the national speakers, profiles on local runners, photo sections from the races and the results of all runners.

“We are so excited to team up with Mark Knutson and the Fargo Marathon for the third annual Fargo Marathon Commemorative Book,” said Andrew Jason, Editorial Director of Spotlight Media, “Each year, the Fargo Marathon is a shining example of what makes our community great and we love that we are involved in it.”

The Fargo Marathon started as the Scheels All Sports Run in 2002 and quickly grew to a full marathon in 2005. The 2015 marathon is the 11th anniversary of the event, which is a test of endurance over a 26.2 mile course.

Find Out More About Fargo Monthly’s April Issue On North Dakota Today

Spotlight Media’s Editorial Director Andrew Jason was on North Dakota Today this morning to discuss the newest issue of Fargo Monthly. The April issue of Fargo Monthly is the annual doctor’s issue, showing off the area’s compassionate and rapidly expanding health care industry. Jason explained that throughout his work on this special issue he was both inspired and impressed by all of the health care professionals in the area that the Spotlight Media staff interviewed. This special version of Fargo Monthly also covers the new construction projects for medical centers in the area and the new state medical school.

Outside of the area’s doctors the April issue features articles about Fargo natives that have been wildly successful in the film and music industry. Contestants from both The Voice and American Idol are featured, explaining the rigorous process that brought them to the famed tv shows.

“It Follows” one of the most critically acclaimed horror films in years was also partially produced by two Fargo natives is featured in the April issue.

Spotlight Media Editorial Director, Andrew Jason, and Editor of Fargo Monthly, Lisa Marchand appeared on North Dakota Today this morning to talk about the newest issue of Fargo Monthly Magazine. They discussed the yearly Wedding Issue which is inserted in this month’s edition.

March is the Women’s Issue, which celebrates the successful working women in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Marchand also discusses how fun it was for her to research the Fargo Theatre story, also included in the magazine. Watch Below.

Bison Illustrated Editor Joe Kerlin and Spotlight Media Editorial Director Andrew Jason made an appearance on North Dakota Today this morning to discuss the newest edition of Bison Illustrated that celebrates the four-peat championship of the Bison Nation. The issue features 212 pages of original content as well as a 3 page fold out cover.

Kerlin discussed Frisco, Bison Nation and how much fun it was to make this special issue of Bison Illustrated.
