Where are you from?
“Originally from Fargo, born and breed out in Horace.”
Give us a couple sentences about yourself.
“I’ve been in love with all manners of art for as long as I can remember, reality can get dull sometimes and an artist’s mind is uncharted greatness. Stuck at the train tracks? Graffiti makes it better. Blank piece of paper? Here’s a crayon. Whenever I get the chance to have my creative juices flow, I’m one happy fella.”
Where have you previously worked?
“Whether it be through custom illustration, shooting/directing video or just making crafts with materials on hand, I love to create. I’ve worked as an art director for Absolute Marketing Group and as an artist for collegiate apparel at Blue84.”
Where did you graduate and with what degree?
“I attended the graphic arts program at MSCTC and got my first job as a designer for CI Sport in my second year.”
What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
“Being the huge nerd that I am, I also love reading comics and collecting shtuff. I also skateboard when I can, and work on my own series of art prints for room decor and graphic tees. Lil photography here and there.”
Any fun facts about yourself you’d like to share?
“My daughter has been my inspiration, giving me the drive to achieve my goals while empowering her to strive for her own. We build with Legos, we play Monster High and collect and read comics so we can ‘geek’ out together. She’s become a lil me, and I couldn’t be more proud.”
Which way does your toilet paper hang—over or under?
“When it comes to toilet paper, let’s be honest, neither. Its plopped on the rack for grabbing, then I spin that roll on my finger like a Harlem Globetrotter.”
