Where are you from?
Born and raised in the Fargo-Moorhead area!
Tell us a little bit about you.
I have spent most of my life living in the FM area, which has been proven to be very beneficial. I attended both Minnesota State University Moorhead and St. Cloud State University where I had a combined total of 5 majors, ranging from radiologic technology to business administration. I ended up with Integrated Advertising and Public Relations after admiring the major upon my discovery of it.
If there was a movie about your life, who would play you and why?
A Jennifer Lawrence and Reese Witherspoon hybrid. My friends and family have said that I have their personality and humor.
What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
My favorite things to do in my spare time are read fiction books, explore new places outdoors, be with my family and friends, paddleboard, and discover new music.
What’s a ridiculous fact about yourself?
I am a horrible driver. I did not get my license until the summer before moving away for college, I backed my car into a ditch the day I got my license and crashed it completely a month after moving away.
What part of your position provides the most value?
The variety. I will have the ability to help those within Spotlight with various things and I think that will be rewarding for me and them.
Tell us about your experience.
I started working at a car dealership at the ripe age of 15 as a receptionist. After 3 years, I was promoted to a Business Development Representative position where I grew immensely as a professional in customer relations.
What part of your job do you believe makes the most impact?
I believe that helping the sales team in reaching their goals will be the most impactful.
Why does our community matter to you?
This community is very dear to me due to the fact that I’ve lived here for so long. I feel at home wherever I go in the FM area and want others to feel that as well.
What are some of your goals at Spotlight?
Some of my goals while at Spotlight include growing as an individual, both personally and professionally, and becoming an expert in the world of advertising.
