Where are you from?
I hail from the small town of Park River, ND. Imagination became a big part of my life there in the absence of having much to do.
Tell us a little bit about you.
I’m a North Dakota native, graduate of MSUM, ordained minister, happy husband to a beautiful wife, and owner of two thoroughly rambunctious pets, Pappy (the dog) and Stevie (the cat/wild beast).
If there was a movie about your life, who would play you and why?
I’ve been told more than a few times that I look like Ashton Kutcher, so I guess I could give the honors to him. His ratio of comedy to drama is right up my alley, and being part of the Shark Tank crew doesn’t hurt either. I don’t think I look as good in a trucker hat as him, but he probably can’t pull off a beard as well as I do.
What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
I love making films with my family and friends when time allows. I’ve been such a huge fan of movies my whole life, and after seeing my first project play on something that wasn’t in my own head, I was hooked!
What’s a ridiculous fact about yourself?
I delivered pizzas as my Australian alter ego, Jayden Dharby, for 5 years. It made for some great tips and confused faces. Apparently, Australians are very exotic to Fargo locals, so I was treated more like a fancy bird than a delivery guy.
